Built in 1916, the three-span truss bridge was a key element of the picturesque pre-war railway line connecting Grzmiąca, Bobolice, Polanów, and Korzybie. For nearly 30 years, the loud clatter of steam train wheels echoed throughout the entire Grabowa river valley. The year 1945 brought an end to this beautiful route. The invading Red Army troops brutally dismantled the tracks and transported all the rail infrastructure to the East. Interestingly, the Russians also tried to blow up this massive bridge to permanently cut off the connection! However, the structure proved to be so brilliantly designed and solid that the explosives only slightly deformed it. You can still admire these wounds in the steel today!

The pier in Chlopy was built in 2015 as part of the modernization of the fishing harbor. It is two-storied and about 90 m long. The upper deck serves as a visitor platform, and the lower deck serves as a landing stage for fishermen. Right next to the pier, the fishing boats are located on the sand.

You can get here very comfortably via the new, smooth cycle path running along the Dzierżęcinka (Na Jamno street). Look for the turn-off onto a gravel service road just behind the OTO Park shopping complex, heading north towards Jamno. Be sure to prepare your cameras – this is one of the most Instagrammable spots in the region!

The building itself and the surrounding weir on the river create a unique, almost fairytale-like atmosphere, perfect for a short break. Directly next to the object, an intimate resting place with a view of the water has been prepared. It is a great destination for people traveling the route towards Mielno or doing a loop around Lake Jamno. The building is private property and can only be admired from the outside.

An extremely picturesque and photogenic spot on the cycling map around Koszalin and Lake Jamno! 🚴♂️ The stunning building, styled like a small palace with a characteristic turret and columns, is called the "Miller's House" by local residents. Previously, a traditional water mill powered by the Dzierżęcinka river operated at this location, producing up to two tons of flour per day. Although the current building was erected in the 1980s, its interior hides a true technical treasure – a still-functioning, historic water turbine from 1886! Since 1996, the facility has continuously operated as a small, ecological hydroelectric power plant supplying electricity to the grid.

For decades, this and other nearby pumping stations have helped maintain the proper water conditions in the lake's catchment area. Today, the drainage systems around Jamno are subject to ongoing ecological and hydrological debates due to fluctuations in the lake's water level after the construction of storm surge gates on the Jamno Canal. For tourists and local fishermen, this building is a permanent, very characteristic landmark during trips around the reservoir.

This is a hydraulic structure built to regulate the water levels in the surrounding polders and drainage ditches, and to protect low-lying agricultural areas from flooding by Lake Jamno. The distinctive, tall and narrow building with a yellow-orange facade is actually a former transformer station (substation) that powered the electric pumps installed inside. This architectural form was common for engineering installations built in the first half of the 20th century. The facility is located on the southwestern shore of Lake Jamno, near the villages of Dobiesławiec and Podamirowo. It stands right next to the flood embankment, along which a popular cycling route runs.

The place is part of the educational trail "Forest Loop of Adventures and Mysteries" Bunkier Wschodni (Eastern Bunker) is a remnant of German military fortifications erected in 1940–1941. The facility is located in the coastal forest west of Mielno, right next to the red hiking trail leading towards Mielenko and Chłopy. The concrete shelter measures approximately 11x7 meters and has walls 50 cm thick. Historians still debate its exact purpose – it most likely served as a secure ammunition depot or an observation post. Interestingly, the structure has no visible doors or classic entrances. Currently, the bunker is one of the key points of the "Forest Loop of Adventures and Mysteries" educational and nature trail. Right next to it, an information board, stairs, and a platform have been installed to facilitate a close-up view of the structure.
