It is 82 m high. It is called Hejnalica or Strażnica – Excubiarum. It was built on a square plan, and at the height of the ninth floor it turns into an octagon, pierced with pointed-arch recesses, housing two floors of windows. The individual floors of the tower are separated from each other by stone cornices. Once upon a time, there was a clock with moving figures on the tower.

Legnica (Legnica) is a city with about 100,000 inhabitants, not so small. Nevertheless, it is still cozy and familiar. Everything is quite close together, so optimal conditions to find what you need after your exhausting tour without much stress. There are hotels, supermarkets, restaurants ... and often one speaks German. Liegnitz has a rail connection to Dresden - just in case. Legnica was a regular transit point of the International Peace Race. Thousands of spectators lined the streets of the city. Even today, Legnica is connected to cycling. It was only in May 2018 that the criterion was part of the "CCC Tour Grody Piastowskie", which is part of the UCI Europe Tour.
