Hamlin Beach State Park is on the shores of Lake Ontario. It has clear water and sandy beaches, which makes it a very popular destination. Visitors can enjoy the beach, fish for salmon and trout and enjoy the picnic facilities. The park is equipped with grills, pavilions and shelter rentals, a children's playground and restrooms.

The Irondequoit Lakeside Trail is a 7-mile multiuse trail. A large amount of the path runs parralel to the sandy beaches along Lake Ontario. The path is full paved and is a great place to take family bike ride.

One of the Great Lakes best sand beaches. There is ample space to take a break during a bike ride. There are restrooms at certain parts of the beach.

Lower Falls is an easy waterfall to view. From the Genesee Riverway Trail, you get a good view of the 110 foot waterfall. The crest of the waterfall is from a man-made dam, which spreads out the water across the sandstone.
