Calico Tanks Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

The Calico Tanks trail is one of the most popular trails in Red Rock Canyon for good reason! The unique out-and-back trail weaves you in and out of the towering sandstone hills and rock formations that comprise the Calico Hills area of the park and leads to an amazing view overlooking the entire Las Vegas valley. While there is not a huge amount of elevation gained on this 2.2 mile hike, there are sections where some scrambling (AKA using your hands to help pull yourself up or lower yourself down) is required.
