Nice view of the creek that runs into Indian Head River. The creek at this point is still small and runs right up along the Indian Head River Trail.

The area along the North River was once part of a thriving shipbuilding industry in New England. Since the 1920s, the Norris couple bought land along the North River and created a pine and oak forest for wildlife. A network of trails along the river and through the forest make the area accessible for walks and hikes through an idyllic landscape near the surrounding towns. https://thetrustees.org/place/norris-reservation/

Really beautiful place to pass through. Popular with people fishing and walking dogs but you can pass through on a bike. Trail is sandy with big stones in it so absolutely not for road bikes! I have a hybrid which was fine. I'm surprised this place isn't more famous because it is such a nice place to visit
