In 2025, the old wooden bridge, which was supposedly dilapidated, was replaced by a new metal bridge; I found the old wooden bridge much nicer than the new one.

Pfiffligheim Pfrimm weir: This weir was used to regulate the water level in order to ensure the supply of the Mühlbach in the direction of Pfiffigheim. The weir to the Mühlbach is also still visible in the foreground. The Mühlbach itself has been filled in. Its course is recognizable as a path. A small weir that was used to irrigate the orchards can be seen on the former edge of the Mühlbach (tour no. 10b). The Pfrimm weir was restored in 1997 by the DRK vocational training center in Worms.

This sculpture is part of the Nibelungen saga and serves as a souvenir of the famous German epic. The sculpture shows Hagen throwing the treasure into the river to prevent Kriemhild from using it to carry out her plans for revenge. This act is a central moment in the saga and symbolizes the final loss of the legendary treasure.
