Unfortunately, there's no real alternative to the bike path along the road on this section, but that doesn't exactly make it a mountain bike highlight. The views over Lake Dassow at least make up for the technically boring asphalt. But since the bike path is in really good condition, you can get this section over with quickly and move on to more suitable trails.
