Very beautiful area, unfortunately we were there in winter, but I will definitely go again, including a coffee break 😉

Here at the bathing area with shallow sandy entry, there is an idyllic bench under a huge double lime tree.

Very nice, clean, free bathing area with a relatively large lawn and sandy beach on Lake Belauer.

The Perdoeler Mill is a water mill on the Alte Schwentine. It was moved from the farmstead upstream to the outlet of Lake Belauer around 1720 when the Perdoel estate was expanded. The right of dams, which was documented in 1761, granted the miller the right to grind grain, distill and brew spirits and to serve them. While the farmers waited for their grain to be ground, they passed the time in the inn. In 1934, the mill wheel was replaced by a water turbine to generate electricity. The turbine is still functional. The Perdoeler Mill was an important tourist destination for the region for a long time. Beautiful hiking and cycling tours in the charming landscape of the Bornhöved Lake District attracted many people seeking relaxation. A campsite with direct access to the lake was officially approved by the Plön district in 1950 and to this day delights its guests with its unique nature and lake view. Things were quiet at the mill for a few years until the "fit and happy" sports barn moved in and started operations in 2011. The Café Bistro has now moved into the new, modern premises in the former cowshed and spoils its guests with homemade cakes, artistic tarts and coffee specialties as well as a small menu of seasonal dishes. On Sundays, guests can enjoy a wonderful Sunday breakfast at the table. This much can be revealed: this is not only a feast for the palate, but also a feast for the eyes. Events, family and company celebrations are happily organized here according to your individual wishes. You can find more information here: https://www.perdoel.de/perdoeler_muehle.html
