Paved bicycle and walking trail along the canal. Plenty of facilities along the way, such as bathrooms and bicycle repair stands. Awesome colors on the trees in the fall.

The Stumpy Lake Loop trail at the golf course is actually part of the Stumpy Lake Natural Area. The lake is right next to the parking area, but the trails just wind through the woods on dirt and wetland trails. This is a quiet trail to run on, and you can even add on miles on the paved roads around the property.

Indian River Park is a really popular spot for mountain bikers, but trail runners and hikers frequent the trails as well. There are lots of tight, twisty, singletrack trails that connect and intertwine. There's a decent chance you'll get turned around if this is your first run here, and you don't stop to check every single trail sign at every trail intersection, but it's always pretty easy to figure out which path to take to get back where you came from.
