The location of the city of Requena in an area provided with numerous springs and fountains has had great strategic importance in the permanent settlement and urban development of the city. Since ancient times, Requena has been surrounded by vegetable gardens and a system of ditches that moved mills and ran through the interior of the urban center, being common since the events of the s. XVI until those of the XX in which the necessary cleaning of the drains by the neighbors is insisted upon. These urban drains were the cause of countless problems and, at times, disease-spreading agents. Until 1953, the urban fountains and fountains were used by the neighborhood for their usual uses of water supply and not with an aesthetic sense. Many houses up to that time were also supplied from the wells of the houses themselves which could be of fresh or salt water.

I think it is the highest peak in the El Rebollar area (Requena) at its summit you will find some antennas and from here you will have incredible 360º views of the entire area of Requena and its vineyards.
