It is an old 18th-century wooden irrigation system next to the Cabriel River, which after several restorations continues to function to raise water to the orchards of the "Rinconada de Muñoz", and has a small viewpoint from where you can contemplate this unique piece of hydraulic heritage in the area.

This area marks the end of the hill and the beginning of more fertile land, dominated by vineyards and other crops where farmers from Requena and its surroundings work the land and give life to a lively and productive rural landscape typical of the Utiel-Requena wine region.

A truly fantastic restaurant and a definite must-visit for fish lovers. The service is excellent, and the fish and salads are absolutely fresh. This is where the locals eat… and so do we.

We arrive at a ridge and finally the sea views are revealed: the sea on a clear day is clearly visible 50km away, and we see El Pico de la Nieve, Los 3 Cerros (and many other mountains whose names I don't know)... absolutely sublime!

Post-Dana update. The bridge is no longer passable. The three middle arches remain, but it is no longer connected. You can really see the force of the water during the Dana in October 2024. There are no more trees or vegetation around it. Work is underway; I don't know when the bridge will be passable again. There is currently no way to cross the Reatillo River on dry land at this point. I've posted photos showing this.
