After leaving the Strait and before the pass that marks the highest point of the route, Praderona is an exceptional enclave. From the upper part you can see the head of the Port of Linares, crossed by the path of the friars, a path that connected a medieval convent that existed in the port of Murias.

The strait is one of the most beautiful points on the route, the pass has some rock and loose stone but it is easy to pass. If there is a lot of water, it can be a little trickier, but in any case, you don't have to climb or do strange things to get through. Moderate difficulty.

Pretty town in the mountains of Leon from which the route to Puerto de Linares begins.

Another of the places with beautiful views on the Solle hazelnut grove route. The descent through the bull meadow is quite steep, it goes down well but you have to be careful in winter when the area is icy.

The views from this pass over the surrounding mountains are well worth a stop on the route.

Beautiful hazelnut grove in the province of León. A signposted route, called "Las Biescas" crosses this spectacular hazelnut forest, especially beautiful in autumn. The name "Biescas" comes from the Latin "Biscata" which means "Hazelnut Forest".

In the pass under the Peña de San Pedro, we find this beautiful refuge (in a good state of conservation). An ideal place to take a break and recover energy to continue with our route.

La Peña San Pedro is located at 1,599 meters above sea level next to the Cruz de San Pedro. From the top, we have wonderful views of the Pardomino forest (which we must not step on at any time as it is prohibited), the Porma Reservoir and Peña Armada.
