Easily accessible on the outskirts of Bruchsal. The wine tastes good and you can see what is produced locally.

Currently, the bridge is closed to both cyclists and pedestrians, and you have to go through the village. This is immediately apparent from the cycle path towards Horrenberg, but coming from Horrenberg, you unfortunately only see it quite late and have to go back a bit.

The castle was built by Ludwig Wolf von Flehingen (1517–1600) and his wife Anna, née Göler von Ravensburg, in 1565, using existing wall sections of a former lower castle. In 1637, ownership passed to Baron Johann Adolf Wolff Metternich zur Gracht. In 1876, it was bought by the municipality of Flehingen. Around 1894, the state of Baden acquired the castle to establish an educational institution there. Today, the castle houses an educational institution and vocational schools.

The market square of Vaihingen an der Enz is a small jewel that many overlook when passing through. The imposing town hall and the proud half-timbered houses around the square were rebuilt in the baroque half-timbered style after a major town fire at the beginning of the 18th century. Also check out the alleys behind it. There are some of the oldest buildings in the city, away from the tourist hustle and bustle.
