August 9, 2025, 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶‍♂️..Venedig..👫👬🧍..☀️🌕💥

Due to a change of vacation, we made a stopover in the lagoon city of Venice. The parking garage... a bit more expensive, and it was new to us that we had to leave the key in the car 🚗🚘🚗...🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️... but everything was well organized. We started with dinner ..🥘🥘🥘 by the canal ..💙 before we set off ..🧍🚶🏻‍♀️👫👬🧍..to see the sights. St. Mark's Square with St. Mark's Basilica St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco): The heart .. ..❤️...of Venice with St. Mark's Basilica, the Doge's Palace, and the Campanile (St. Mark's Tower). 🧡 and Doge's Palace, a walk across the Rialto Bridge.🤎 Doge's Palace (Palazzo Ducale): An impressive Gothic building that once served as the seat of government. 🤎 Bridge of Sighs (Ponte dei Sospiri): A bridge connecting the Doge's Palace to the former prison, offering a beautiful view of the Grand Canal. 💙 Rialto Bridge (Ponte di Rialto): One of Venice's most famous bridges, spanning the Grand Canal. 🩶 and along the many Canal la Grande...🩵 Grand Canal: Venice's main waterway, plied by numerous gondolas and vaporetti (water buses). 💙 We walked through narrow alleys and crossed the numerous bridges to experience Venice's unique atmosphere. ..❤️ Thanks to Komoot, we didn't get lost, otherwise it wouldn't be so easy.....🙋‍♂️🙋🏻‍♀️
