Yes it was a challenge. The weather was perfect though so very enjoyable
This would be a belter of a route in good weather. The views are incredible. Whilst it says fell race I'd say well over half of it is a hike! The route direction tackles Grisedale Pike first and that is a slog of a climb, nearly 3 miles. After that there are a few other climbs / scrambles up and down Crag Hill and Sail as you go along the ridge. Finally a 2 mile technical decent back down in to Braithwaite.
