A spectacular hike past a number of waterfalls and great scenery. There is a £10 entrance fee to the walk but I believe the money goes towards the upkeep of the paths on what would be very precarious terrain without them. Stunning walk up the River Twiss and down the River Doe past incredible waterfalls (6 main falls) currently in full spate.
The organised one way path is probably necessary though might possibly feel a little “Disney theme park” on a busy day.
Well worth the trip though.

If you're after a walk with an excessive amount of waterfalls, then look no further.

Around waterfall 4 or 5 (I lost count) a rickety thin bridge has you dangling 50ft above one of the ice-age death canyons where thousands of gallons of water smash their way past jagged rocks below your feet 😬
