S801 Mondsee - Fuschlsee - Wolfgangsee round trip from St. Agatha - New gravel adventures in the Salzkammergut

Gravel riding

The S801 is designed as a two-day tour experience between Lake Hallstatt and Lake Fuschl. Along the way, you'll also pass Bad Ischl, Lake Wolfgang, Lake Atter, and Lake Mond.

All in all, a very rewarding gravel bike tour awaits you over around 100 kilometers and more than 1,300 meters of altitude gain. The two bike hotels Jakob am Fuschlsee and Agathawirt in Bad Goisern are ideal as a base camp or daily destination.

A detour to Strobl is just as worthwhile as taking a short break in St. Gilgen. Both places are located directly on Lake Wolfgang and await you with cafés and restaurants.

The Schenner family has been owned by the hotel for 200 years. Owner Andrea Schenner is a mountain biker herself and knows the region like the back of her hand. Bike offers of the hotel can be found here: qr.i-mts.net/oi1vuea
