Today I completed a magnificent circular route from Urús, 18 km and 1,150 meters of positive gradient. The itinerary includes highlights such as Penyes Altes, Coll de Jou, Fontllebrera and Coll de Jovell, offering a wide variety of landscapes. The route runs mainly on mountain trails, with some short sections of track to vary the terrain. The ascent from the Refugi de Cortals d'en Vidal to Penyes Altes is demanding due to its unevenness, but the panoramic views from the top are rewarding. Although the terrain is stony in some sections, technically it does not present great difficulties. The diversity of the landscape, which includes dense forests and open meadows with stunning views, maintains interest throughout the entire route. The moments of rest in Coll de Jou and Fontllebrera, immersed in the tranquility of nature, are particularly pleasant. Arriving at Coll de Jovell marks the perfect end of the route, with a gentle descent to Urús.
