Lovely route, peeling off the railway path from Bristol to bath, onto and around a good portion of the Avon cycleway. Plenty of hills at just the right level of challenge for me, and not too much traffic. Views of pensford viaduct and chew valley lake. As usual I got lost coming back into Bristol and nearly merged into a truck, but these are me problems rather than the route itself 😇. Bonus steep climb up to and over the suspension bridge after 60km – apologies to the long queue of traffic I caused.
