I walked this route in early March.

The altitude can be mastered easily with good footwear, although a few walking sticks are particularly helpful when descending.
The tour is highly recommended at this time because of the Märzenbecher blossom.

The tree sponges, the moss-covered stones and the basalt formations overgrown with lichens are very beautiful.
