Gravel riding
Three lakes, two rivers and a flowing descent: these are the ingredients for this fun gravel tour. It starts in Sankt Gilgen am Wolfgangsee, whose shore you drive along to Strobl. Then you follow the river Ischl and the Traun, sometimes on small roads, sometimes on beautiful gravel paths.
On the Weißenbachtalradweg you ride slightly uphill through idyllic nature, mostly accompanied by the romantic murmur of the stream. Once at the top, the great descent awaits you on a wonderful gravel path to Lake Attersee. Shortly thereafter you will reach the Mondsee and after a steep climb you have arrived back at the Wolfgangsee.
