Spectacular route, both up and down. The Canal del Garbí is amazing, but you have to have a firm step. There are chains in the most difficult sections.
Very nice tour behind Sagunt. It starts off easy, but then it gets steeper up to Canal Garbi, where technical skills and stamina are required. Not for children and dogs!! The chains can be helpful sometimes, but if you know your way around, it's no problem. There are signs there for a reason ⚠️ The view from above over the Gulf of Valencia and the hinterland is breathtaking 🤩
The canal and the route is officially deapproved and they will most likely remove the chains from there (well, half were missing, and what was in poor condition), so you plan to go through the canal, harness, bag, helmet and rope, carabiners and etc. will probably be missing. Only for people who know what they are doing, although it is not very difficult, you need to have knowledge and minimal equipment.
Super nice hike around the mountains of Valencia. The Canyon was secured by chains to pull yourself up the 5 to 6 meters in the walls. The views were spectacular and with 20 degrees a great tour in March.
