From Thierbach to the Gratlspitz

The Gratlspitze is considered the local mountain of Thierbach - Wildschönau. On this 16-kilometer hike, you climb the 1,899-meter-high peak, from which you have a magnificent view thanks to its exposed location. The tour starts in Hinterthierbach, two kilometers after the village. The hiking bus goes to the village: www.wildschoenau.com/bus.

You hike through a wonderfully green landscape, sometimes briskly, sometimes more relaxed uphill to the Holzalm. It's worth stopping for refreshments there, because the steep climb to the summit begins from here. But don't worry, every drop of sweat is worth it: the view is simply magnificent! You look out over the two expansive valleys and the mountain peaks lined up around you. Take your time to relax and enjoy the panorama.
