This route was planned by komoot.
Very nice autumn tour. Time has run out. A total of 2 hours break
An easy hike to the highest peak in the Graz mountains, the Hochlantsch at 1720m. Starting from the Teichalm, we experienced many wonderful moments on this inconspicuous peak in the Almenland nature reserve. From the summit cross with the mega surprise for hikers, ibexes, amazing panorama, pilgrimage church in the rock face and the Steirerjokl. Only the return journey along the forest road back to the starting point was rather boring. A wonderful day in the Graz mountains with my Spotzl.
After thinking back and forth for a long time whether the weather was right, we made our way to the Teichalmsee and we had dream weather 😍 Very beautiful area, first we went to the Hochlantsch, then on to the Styrian Jockl, and the stairs down to the Schüsserlbrunn church ( I forgot to turn on the komoot again, which is missing), after that it was quite comfortable only downhill back to the Teichalmsee. We then circled this and also looked at the moor nature trail behind it. In between, komoot was gone for a moment, so the numbers are not exactly correct.
Long overdue From the Teichalm to just before the Guten Hirten, it's almost flat, because that's where the ascent begins: first to the Steirischer Jokl and then along the forest trail up to the Hochlantsch. This summit is long overdue, so I completely forgot to take a summit photo there today. On to the Kleiner Lantsch, which looks unadorned at its big brother. Then past the Zachenkreuz and downhill again towards the Teichalm. Before that, however, take an unmarked left onto the Tonnegger Kogel, which boasts a mighty cross. Down to the road and then a short path back to the starting point.
