After a 3 week break, first little tour through Blockland. As always beautiful and without rain 🤗
Yesterday there was frost, today it's 15 degrees and sunshine. Perfect weather for Blockland. Lots of herons, swans... only the stork wasn't there yet.
Nice blockland round on the first day of the new year.
And again I couldn't use my new overshoes. Just too warm!😎
With the great weather we had to go out and after a long time we decided to go to Blockland again. There wasn't much going on in the morning and you could drive there very relaxed, without much wind and with countless stops to watch the many herons, cranes, swans and birds of prey.
It was supposed to be just a bike tour through the blockland without photos, but I just had to take in this evening mood. In the end I took photos of almost all of the illuminated inns, astonishingly many on this tour. Those familiar with the area will recognize everyone.
Gray, damp and windy, but so beautiful..5 white herons seen for the first time.
It was a nice quiet 🌞 tour. Except for four 🚴 and one 🏃♀, the dike was deserted and quiet. Only when taking photos could I hear the cracking of the 🧊floes.
