Mountain biking

The Glemmtal Cycle Path allows you to enjoy relaxed cycling from Maishofen at the entrance to the valley all the way into the head of the valley. There is a lot to discover along the route: In addition to a motor skills path with 24 stations, you will also find beautiful resting places along the Saalach - so the bike path is also ideal for a trip with the whole family. If you want to take a sporty approach, it offers you a quick connection to the Saalachtal, where you then have access to the Tauern cycle path and many other beautiful laps.

In Maishofen you start in the direction of Kirchham and then follow the cycle path along the Glemmtaler Landesstraße. To Viehhofen you follow the newly built cycle path sections and change the river side several times. The section to Saalbach then runs along the quiet, southern bank. Again and again you come to the stations of the motor skills path, where you can put your skills to the test.

The section to Hinterglemm is also very pleasant to drive and you can let your gaze wander over the mountains at the head of the valley. When you arrive in Hinterglemm, you change the side of the river at the Forellenhof again and then follow the signs towards the Lindlingalm on beautiful gravel paths. When you arrive at the Alm, you now have the choice of whether you want to have a good time on the cozy terrace or treat your calves to a refreshment in the Kneipp pool with Teufelswasser. There is also a lot to discover here for the little cyclists. The return route is then the same.
