Follow in the footsteps of the legendary Black Forest Ultra Bike Marathon. The ascent of around 700 meters from Kirchzarten up to the Hinterwaldkopf separates the wheat from the chaff in this famous mountain bike race.

Fortunately, you don't have to rush like the race participants, but can enjoy the panorama upstairs and stop off at the Höfener Hütte. The fantastic view of the Dreisamtal can be enjoyed even better with a snack.

For dessert there is a hearty descent with a view of the Feldberg. You roll down through the idyll of the Zastlertal back to Kirchzarten. The best way to get to the starting and finishing point in Kirchzarten is by train from Freiburg or Villingen.
