Forest at Naturreservat Slättö Sand
Highlight • Forest
Slättö Sand is one of the largest areas of wind-blown sand in Sweden and is characterised by its unique geological and botanical features. It was once a treeless sandy landscape, but afforestation has changed its appearance, and today it is maintained through logging and controlled burning.
