The tour is strenuous, it goes steeply up and down again. Good equipment, physical condition and a head for heights should be available, there are some climbing spots and snowfields. Not recommended in bad weather. But the view is terrific. Folgefonna, Hardangerfjords and view to the North Sea.
The path is very well marked. I recommend taking the western route …
