Vittsjön is a beautiful lake that's a hub of activity. From the hiking around its perimeter to water skiing, wakeboarding, canoeing and swiming, there's plenty to enjoy here. The 1612 Battle of Vittsjö took place here, which almost saw the newly crowned Swedish King Gustavus Adolphus drowned while on the run from Danish forces.

Very scenic, but unfortunately most of the time on a tarred, quiet road...

Nice tour on well-maintained paths. Halfway there is a shelter with a fire pit, great for preparing something warm and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. At the end there is a cafe with a terrace on the water, highly recommended.
