Trail Biking in Røros – Fjellkjerkstien Route
Highlight • Trail
The Fjellkjerkstien is one of the most beautiful singletracks in the Røros trail network. A moderate path through the open mountain landscape with the typical wide view of this region. Encounters with other bikers are rare here, the trail is mostly yours alone. The route is located on the edge of Bergsstaden Røros, one of the best-preserved mining towns in Europe and part of the UNESCO World Heritage. In summer, the conditions are dry and easily rideable, in autumn the moorland ground can become slippery.

Langmyra Wetland

The wetland is located in the surroundings of Røros, one of Norway's most impressive cultural landscapes and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1980. "Langmyra" simply means "the long mire", and that is exactly what it is. A vast, open mire landscape that teems with birds, especially in spring and autumn.
