Running
The Gaisberg Vertical Trail reveals what awaits you right in its name: a real Vertical Up experience! This short but extremely steep loop challenges your strength, technique, and endurance.
You start your run at the valley station of the Gaisberg lift in Kirchberg. The first few meters still lead you up asphalt to the Kirchanger Chapel and finally continue on gravel through the forest. Under the lift track, the trail slowly gets steeper and you notice how your thighs are working hard.
Parallel to the Gaisberg bike trail, you run relentlessly uphill until the Gaisbergstüberl finally announces your well-deserved destination. A stop here is worthwhile before you return to the valley via the same path or the lift.
