Stebok Wäg von Dalaas zum Formarinsee​-​Freiburger Hütte

This tour starts at the Dalaas Kristbergsaal bus stop. Via Dalaas train station, you reach the Obermarias district and hike through a landscape that increasingly takes on an alpine character. After leaving the last houses behind you, the actual Stebokwäg begins.

Along the themed trail, you will repeatedly be accompanied by ibex motifs and information boards that convey knowledge about alpine farming, geology, and the Natura 2000 area "Klostertaler Bergwälder".

You gain considerable altitude against an idyllic alpine backdrop and finally reach the Freiburger Hütte. It offers overnight accommodation with advance reservation, as well as food and drinks. From the back of the house, you have a wonderful view of the Rote Wand and the Formarinsee.

For the way back, you can either choose the same path or take the hiking bus from Alpe Formarin to Lech and from there take the regional bus back to Dalaas.
