The love for sport connects Fieberbrunn and Hochfilzen and this mountain bike tour connects the two places. You start in the center of Fieberbrunn.
A few years ago, Fieberbrunn was a dream destination for the snowboard scene – as a former venue for Lords of the Boards. There were parties and concerts around the event. From the boards, this tour takes you to the shooting range. You cycle along the Fieberbrunner Ache to Hochfilzen, the mecca of biathlon sport. World championships have already taken place here and the World Cup meeting is a highlight every year.
Today you won't be getting on a snowboard or skis, but you will be testing your mountain legs. You cycle up to the Hoametzl Hütte. From there, you can let your gaze wander over the Leoganger and Loferer Steinberge mountains from the large terrace. You then cycle back to Fieberbrunn on a wonderfully varied route.
