March 31, 2024, Mount Misery & Joy Trails 3-31-2024

It was a cloudy day but nice out with temperatures at Valley Forge National Park. I parked at Knox's Quarter and i crossed Valley Creek to Mount Misery Trail to uphill to Horseshoe Trail then downhill to Route 23. Then the Mount Joy and around Mount Joy. Then down back downhill to the parking lot .

It was a very cold day. Breezy as well. I walked from Knox’s Quarters Parking lot. Went to Mount Misery Trailhead. I went uphill on the trail. It was pretty busy. Good climb to the top of Mount Misery. I rang the bell. A reward for climbing the hill. Went down the Horseshoe Trail to Route 23. Crossed Route 252 to the Mount Joy trailhead and uphill abs I kept right and I went around Mount Joy. And I went to the paved path and went back to the car. Walked through the log cabins then back to the car. Nice hike.

It was a muggy sunny. Day at Valley Forge National Park. I took the Mount Misery trail uphill to the Horseshoe Trail then downhill to Route 23 then up the Mount Joy Trail and around it to the paved path back to Knox's. Quarters Parking lor. Nice workout.
