The small community of Kals am Großglockner is nestled between the peaks of the Hohe Tauern National Park. On this beautiful circular hike you hike through one of the most pristine Alpine landscapes in Austria with a great view.
At 20 kilometers, the tour doesn't exactly look like a family hike - but the tour is actually divided into seven short stages, which you can combine to create your own personal, family-friendly valley tour.
Only a few differences in altitude await you here, and comfortable hiking trails take you from vantage point to vantage point, past themed boards, playgrounds and alpine huts.
The individual sections are also easily accessible with a stroller and are classified as an ‘easy hike’.
Stage 1: From the Dorfertal car park via the hamlet of Taurer to Tembler
4.5 kilometers - 1 hour
Stage 2: From Temblerhof to Lana
1.5 kilometers - 30 minutes
Stage 3: From Lana to Rotte Arnig
3 kilometers - 1 hour
Stage 4: From Arnig via Unterlesach to Oberlesach

Stage 5: From Oberlesach to the Ködnitztal suspension bridge
