This was our day 3 of the O-Circuit. From Camp Frances you will soon pass Camp Cuernos which has a really nice kitchen room and often some food/gas is left there. We found noodles, gas and lentils - cooked there. On the remaining hike you will leave the forest and the wind protection, we saw people loose their rain cover …
From Campamento Francés, the trail initially leads through dense forest, accompanied by the rushing sound of the Río Francés. After a short climb, the landscape opens up, and the path winds along the slope with impressive views of the Cuernos del Paine.
