Actually, we wanted to do a bike tour today because of the beautiful views advertised. But today you noticed the rain from yesterday morning and the evening before yesterday. According to the weather forecast, the sun and clouds should alternate today, but the high amount of moisture in the rain gave us a gray sky. The mountains could not be seen or only poorly. That's why we decided to go on a hiking tour. I also had the tour: Lechschleife 9, from lake to lake, slightly modified. The official starting point of the tour is at the Lechfall, but there are only a few parking spaces there and most of them are occupied. That's why we started in Bad Faulenbach. Past the Mittersee and Obersee it went to the Alatsee. We rounded it about 3/4 and then turned onto the road towards Weissensee. But it went quickly into the forest and after a total of 5.5 kilometers on a small path. It quickly became very demanding: many roots and stones require one
A very beautiful hike. You could take 100 pictures. But seeing everything is indescribable. Have fun
A very beautiful tour in glorious weather. Unfortunately, some trails are closed due to rockfall and storm damage. But it's still definitely worth it. 🤗🥾🥾
Today's tour went from Füssen towards Faulbach, past the Obersee and Alatsee to Weissensee and then back. Very great tour.
Magical!! The Lechfall really flashed me and the path (Lechschleife L9 "from lake to lake") is a beautiful circular tour with a high proportion of paths. On the way back - after we had left the shore path of the Weissensee - we unfortunately took a wrong turn and then walked to Füssen over very unsightly paths. If you stay on the L9, there are natural paths through the forest until the end. We did a little round through the old town before we went back to the car in the free parking lot at the Lechfall / forest adventure center. Highly Recommended!! https://www.fuessen.de/wandern/wandern.html
Beautiful, varied route if the weather is too changeable for mountain tours. Today was the Alpine salamander's wedding day: you could take wonderful photos and had to be careful not to trample them. Unfortunately, part of the original route was closed. But we still discovered the beautiful rock gate thanks to a daring bike descent 🙂
Wonderful tour, I absolutely have to run again in the sunshine. 🤩
We started with the turquoise-blue Lech Falls, then continued to Mittersee, Obersee, Alatsee, and finally Weissensee with its spectacular "rock gate." A superb tour on mostly root-covered hiking trails, characterized by the idyllic lake landscapes. We parked for free at the Reptile Zoo right on the Lech River.

Does anyone have experience with this route during the current persistent rain? I'm wondering if the forest paths are very muddy at the moment...
