This cycling route promises a journey into history. You'll follow in the footsteps of the Hvidsten Group. Your starting point is the parking lot at the Randers Nature Center – right on the banks of the Gudenå River. The train station is also nearby. The tour quickly takes you out of the city – to several places associated with the activities of the Hvidsten Group.
The group was a Danish resistance group during World War II. You'll cycle to Mustard Point, for example. There, the group received weapons dropped by British aircraft. Most of the group was sentenced to death in 1944, while others ended up in prison or in German captivity.
