Hike to the Mason waterfall

The impressive 80-meter-high Mason Waterfall is the highlight of this hike in the beautiful Klostertal valley. Starting at the bus stop at the Innerbraz school, the trail initially heads uphill along the Masonbach stream. You enter the forest and follow the winding Bockbergweg trail. After a short while, a steep path branches off from this trail to the waterfall. On the following section, you have to be prepared for rockfall, so there are marked shelters along the trail. Then you'll find yourself standing in front of it: the thundering Mason Waterfall, cascading down a vertical cliff face.
Back on the main trail, you then hike to the protected Bödener Magerwiesen meadows. Via Lötsch, the tour takes you into the Partellstobel and Winkeltobel valleys. Following the water, you reach Außerbraz, where you can board the L720 bus at the Hotel Traube and return to the starting point.
