This short circular hike connects the famous Elephant Mountain with the quieter Lion Mountain. Enjoy a varied route through nature in the heart of Taipei. The tour starts at the Tianbao Shengdao Temple.
Right at the beginning, you'll encounter many steps, but the view of the city makes up for it. You'll pass a temple, hidden shrines, and enormous statues. Soon, it's time to suck in your stomach! The path leads you through the narrow "Thread of Sky" crevice.
From the two mountains, you'll enjoy magnificent views of Taiwan's capital, including the famous Taipei 101 skyscraper. The view is impressive at any time of day – but especially in the early morning hours or at dusk, when the city is bathed in golden light. A great tour for a quick escape from the city into the countryside. Don't forget your camera!
