This route was planned by komoot.
This stage went from Aschaffenburg to Offenbach/Main. Finally we had really good cycling weather with 25 degrees. The first 10 km from Aschaffenburg were not so pleasant in terms of the paths - many gravel paths and bumps caused by tree roots. But it was nice that the wooded and open, sunny sections alternated. Seligenstadt is definitely worth a stop. We stayed in Offenbach at the Holiday Inn Express. Here the bikes can be parked in the underground car park.
Today our start of the family bike tour along the Main. After arriving by car and train, we went in glorious weather 🌞 from Offenbach comfortably along the Main past Hanau in the direction of Aschaffenburg. The bike path itself is great to ride, without any climbs and wide enough for the many cyclists that were out and about today. Whitsun just now 😬.
We had skipped this section to get to the Europa Open Air in Frankfurt, so we made up for it today. The train ride home is proving rather bumpy, and we're hoping to even get home today.
Today we went to Offenbach with a little less headwind. Again nice and cozy along the Main. After Hanau we stopped at "Riverside". Food and price were ok. Unfortunately I miss about 6 km😮 because I switch it on again too late
