This loop, starting from the small winter resort of Prabouré, leads to the iconic passes of the Forez region. The brown mountain bike trail markers run along the wooded slopes of the Ance Valley, a wild river and tributary of the Loire. From one mountain range to the next, you'll discover extraordinary viewpoints.
From Prabouré, you begin with a descent to the Ance River. This is followed by a climb to the Col des Supeyres. Along the way, you can stop at the Jasserie du Coq Noir. Its traditional dwellings, which also serve as stables and cheese dairies, serve meals in the summer.
Then, a hilly section takes you to the Pradeaux Lake and its dam, followed by the pass of the same name. The route concludes with a superb wooded section leading back to the starting point at Prabouré.
