Two true gems that you absolutely must see in Nauders await you on this wonderful tour: the Black and Green Lakes – true powerhouses amidst untouched nature.

The hike begins with a ride on the Mutzkopf chairlift. Once you reach the lofty 1,800 meters above sea level, you'll begin your walk. A wonderful path leads you first to the mystical Kreuzmoos, then further to the Black Lake. It's worth stopping by during the water lily bloom season (typically in July). These are, by the way, the highest water lilies in the Alps.

When you're ready, keep going – after all, there's still another lake on the itinerary. The Green Lake welcomes you just about one and a half kilometers later. If you're a world-class angler, be sure to get a fishing license before you start your hike, as fishing is permitted up here.

Enjoy the peace and quiet and take as much time as you like. Then a beautiful forest path takes you back to the valley station of the Mutzkopf lift.
