This loop starts in Soultz-sous-Forêts and winds its way through meadows, small villages, and wooded areas to the Drachenbronn area. In this area, you'll have the opportunity to discover many remnants of the wars that shaped the history of our region. Further along the route, we suggest a detour to see the Schœnenbourg fortification, one of the best-preserved in the area.
Beyond its historical significance, this tour is also a fun way to explore this rich region with your family. We suggest adding a few kilometers to the Treetop Trail or stopping at the Adventure Forest.
The trail departs from Soultz-sous-Forêts train station. You can reach it by train via direct lines from Wissembourg or Strasbourg. To fully enjoy Soultz and the surrounding area, we suggest planning a weekend in the area. You'll have so much to explore!
