The starting point of this scenic circular tour is the Sattelboden mountain station, which you can easily reach from Fendels by chairlift. The trail initially follows a relatively flat path toward the Ochsenkopf, then becomes steeper.
Follow the path past blooming alpine roses to the "Marterl," the highest point of the tour. From there, you descend to the cozy Fendler Alm, which is ideal for a refreshing stop. From the Sattelklause, you can take the chairlift or mountain cart down to the valley. If you're not tired yet, you can descend directly from the Fendler Alm to the valley via the Alter Weg.
