This trail, accessible to all, invites you to discover an alpine river with a rich flora and fauna. A true biological corridor, the Fier flows at the bottom of a majestic glacial valley bordered by the Glières Massif, the Cruet, and the Dents de Lanfon.
The Fier plain can be reached from several parking lots, all easily accessible, particularly from the departmental road between Thônes and Dingy-Saint-Clair. Here, at the start of the route, you'll discover the first waterfall on the trail. Following the river, you'll cross several footbridges.
All along the trail, various viewpoints invite contemplation, with numerous possible breaks for a picnic or a swim. Between the forest, river, and mountains, nature lovers will be amazed.
