Cool round in top weather! If you mention at the Preikestolhyttaparkplatz that you only want to do this round and come back after two hours, you are allowed to park here for 2 hours for 40 NOK, provided there are still spaces available.
The mountain hut is located on a mountain lake, great for cold swimming, but also fun and challenging to walk around it. Especially when threatening clouds hang over us and sometimes rain falls.
Wow! What a trail! It went up and down several times. At the reception, they told me it was an easy hike of only 5 km... I took a lot of photos. Sometimes it was swampy, sometimes it ran right along the water, sometimes over a small stream, sometimes it was steep and I had to hold on to the rock above me and pull myself up. There were many small wooden plank paths - and sometimes I had to sit down and slide down the rock... Enjoy looking at the photos... I collapsed into bed that evening, completely exhausted.
