This is a spectacular itinerary, of medium difficulty, perfect for those seeking strong emotions and unforgettable views. The route starts from Riva del Garda, easily reachable by car or public transport, and winds along the famous Sentiero del Ponale, a natural balcony suspended above the lake, up to Pregasina.

From here the real challenge begins: the climb towards Punta Larici, with its breathtaking view that embraces Garda from shore to shore. The Sentiero delle Creste, short but intense, is a technical stretch, with steep and exposed passages, but offers views that seem to come from a postcard.

The last effort leads to Passo Rocchetta, reachable with a climb up to Malga Palaer. The view here repays every effort. There is a fountain here but it is not always active in the hot months, so we recommend that you stock up well in Riva and Pregasina, especially in summer. The return follows a more fluid and runnable path, alternating panoramic stretches and passages immersed in holm oak woods.

This challenging but irresistible loop is perfect for those who love technical climbs and fast descents with endless views of Lake Garda.

Punta Larici is one of the most spectacular natural balconies on Lake Garda. From up here, the view extends in every direction: Riva and Torbole on one side, Malcesine and the majestic Mount Baldo on the other. On clear days, the view reaches as far as Torri del Benaco. A truly breathtaking panorama!
