View of Lake Czorsztyńskie

Highlight • Viewpoint

In my opinion, the absolute most beautiful view of Lake Czorsztyn. I was truly speechless and stood there and looked for a very long time. It is also possible that it is because of the fatigue with which I climbed this hill. Because regardless of whether you are going from Frydman or Niedzica, the ascent is quite tiring. Either way, it is worth going there, because even these beautiful photos do not do this view justice!

The route offers stunning panoramic views and historical sites. You'll enjoy the View of the Pieniny Mountains, the View of Lake Czorsztyńskie, and the View of the Białka River and the Tatra Mountains. Given that parts of the trail run through or near nature reserves and the Pieniny National Park, it's advisable to keep dogs on a leash and ensure they are well-behaved to respect wildlife and other cyclists. Always clean up after your pet.

Do I need a permit or pay an entrance fee for the trail or Pieniny National Park?

The route is known and widely described. Awesome. However, with a trailer with two children I would recommend an electric xD (although I only pushed it once)

Very nice lake tour with beautiful all-round views. A little tip, you should only do the tour during the week, as many locals from the surrounding cities move there. It is also very suitable for families, although a certain level of fitness should be available due to the route. A highlight and motivation for children is the ship crossing. We started the tour in the south near the castle, where the landing stage for ships or boats is, and accordingly we circled the lake in a clockwise direction. The tour runs mainly on a newly developed bike path. Only a few stretches are dirt roads. So no high demands on the bikes themselves. Around the lake itself there are many opportunities to take a break to enjoy the view from a snack to a restaurant. The prices, as usual, are very low. For us the tour was very relaxing as we usually go on other tours in the Tatra Mountains and it was a change for us.

Beautiful route ... And on the hill the machine gave up, it was towed;)

If you want to experience mountains and water at the same time, this is the perfect place for it. A paradise for the eyes. The route is very demanding if you want to drive through it. If you are willing to push for a few minutes, you can enjoy the rest of the ride without being a sports fanatic. Highly recommended.

Great route, although there are climbs, so if someone doesn't ride much, they'll have to push in 1-2 places. Currently, the price of the so-called ferry or boat is PLN 25 per person + bike. The culture of those riding is at a high level. During the week, there aren't that many cyclists. I sincerely recommend it.

Nice tour around the reservoir. Most of the time it rolls along and the ice cream and chips are dense. 👍🏼🚲 As a little treat, there was a boat trip to avoid the main road.

Very varied and fantastically well-developed cycle route. Mostly flat with a few climbs, but they are tough. The supplies are all the better for that. It seems like there are rest areas every 2-3 km with ice cream, beer, etc. Great views but also lots of cyclists on the way. Attraction: sailing across the lake on the ferry ⛴️.

In my opinion, one of the best bicycle routes in Poland, and maybe even in Europe. The entire 27 km route runs on an asphalt surface. Mostly a separate bicycle path. Sections along the road separated. Beautiful views of the Czorsztyńskie Lake, the Tatra Mountains, the Gorce Mountains and the Pieniny Mountains. An additional car is a bicycle trip on a ship from Czorsztyn to Niedzica. The steep and approximately 1/1.5 km long uphill road to Falsztyn provides a lot of adrenaline, regardless of the direction in which you are going. But achieving this point compensates for the effort and gives a lot of satisfaction. A small disadvantage is the lack of good markings along the route regarding points of interest and dining options, and the website is not very well developed. Overall, I rate the route 8/10 and I highly recommend it.
